But I have a perfectly valid reason to say that.
IMO gen 2 had the best features of any pokemon game, especially hgss. But the game is super unforgiving

Early game, Falkner's Pidgeotto is just bullshit

Also there are not a lot of trainers, few pokemon to catch, and most of the early game pokemon level up way too damn slow. Wild pokemon levels are really low throughout the whole game
