It's two months to go before game day, and that's the timeframe for Mega Evolution's reveal. Whatever bonding and Ash-Greninja are, I think we are going to learn more soon. September is also when the past two batches of middle starter evos have been shown, but there's a chance they'll hold those till the final month.
