Realistically not much. People who have kept playing pokemon without hacking it for whatever reason had to update their systems in order to download game patches to be able to play online. Meaning their only way of actually downgrading is soldering or already having a hacked 3DS.

Pokemon is largely a social game anyways. Even with the aspect of hacking, people will still buy it to play with friends.

Minimal, and far outweighed by the spillover of new sales from GO players. Even if only a small percentage of GO players decide to give the main series a shot or get back into it after some time off, that'll be a measurable increase in sales.

Yes. Although I don't use freeshop, I use CIAngel to download the tickets, which is basically what you pay for when you buy a game off the eshop. I logged in with my account which has money on it, it all just works.
