It's well worth it though, and they put the Eevee in a large bag so that you can carry it out without anyone seeing it. You could also leave the plush at home in the closet/under the bed, and only take it out when you're alone and want to play with one.
I doubt anyone particularly cares though. My family/friends already know I'm an avid plushie affectionado, and don't give it two thoughts otherwise. I suppose it depends on what kind of people you know though. I really love this plush though (enough for me to buy a Hello Kitty BaB plush on ebay right afterwards, in fact).
