>>28226965It boggles my mind how can anyone like Gen V over anything else. Most boring Pokemon games I've ever played. Linear as fuck, same environments as all of the games that came before it (start out in grass town, go to bug forest then zubat cave, except this time it's a zubat clone because they didn't want to use zubat).
It brought nothing new to the table. Same shit. Get 8 badges, then some random team trying to take over the world with the legendary, then E4. Barely any post-game either.
On top of that, the pokedex is full of awful fillermon because they didn't want to reuse Gen 1 mons. So you get Pidgcopypasta, Machop clone, not-Geodude and shittier hitmons. Sure it has a fair share of awesome mons like Galvantula, Bisharp and Archeops, but there's so much shit too. Way more than other gens.
And the back sprites look like shit.
