Pokemon Stadium was only good because of the minigames and being able to rent almost any Pokemon you wanted. Battle Revolution has neither of those and it's just an overpriced expansion pack for DP just to play online properly against other people instead of AI controlled bots.

The Pokemon Stadium and Colosseum series were basically overpriced boxes with a few extras.

It's not really any less different except it offers more so proper online battling rather than box support.

Blame Nintendo rushing it out the door. It was supposed to have a story mode IIRC.

It doesn't help that the game locks you into round 2 once you beat Mysterio so it becomes unplayable without competitively trained Pokemon.

It was just empty. I'm hoping they take the basic concept and applied it towards the Battle Frontier, though. Part of me hopes "Pokemon Battle Frontier" is a Wii U title that has been pushed to the NX, and it incorporates the kinds of facilities we saw in Emerald.

They aren't going to make a full retail game just the post game facilities that should be in a main game. PBR taught Nintendo that console Pokemon games that need the handheld game and that can only be fully enjoyed if they're a competitive trainer isn't going to sell.

Hell, this is the final boss if you use Diamond, Platinum, or Soul Silver. That's max I.vs, ideal nature, and e.v trained.

That Latios and Kyogre will carve through in game teams like butter.

How many people managed to get the Lucario outfit? That shit was hard from what I remembered, it was made even harder by the fact that I didn't realize for my first 10 tries that you could pick the rental Pokémon from the right side of the screen as well.
