That's exactly how it truly works. Look at ORAS, Hoenn was nostalgic to some and a new region to younger players even when it only focused on Gen 1-3 Pokemon. It sold at least 80% of the units XY has sold so far. A remake that took one year of development made at least 80% of the money XY sold... Stupidly easy money.

Every gen the game breaks a bit more.
>Grass/Ice/Rock types will never be balanced (look at their amount of weaknesses compared to water and electric)

I don´t like every alolan form and I don´t hate all the new pokémon.

It depends on the pokémon and alolan raichu is one of the alolan forms, I really dislike, because it looks like a fairy type and fits totally into this pink und cuddly fairymons.

Pikachu is going to get every time some bonus and now they gave it to raichu, because they don´t want to change pikachu.
