crabhammer clearly is not only for water type crabs, but crabs with big, meaty claws. i guess crustle's claws are hammery enough.
GF didn't make it water type because, as previously stated, their intention with this design was surely to respect the fact that coconut crabs, the lead inspiration for crabrawler, will die in the water, and cannot swim.
