I hate these channels that get more views off of Pokemon Go rather than the people that have been doing it for years.

pokemon content in youtube is pretty bad overall
the gameplays are incredible boring and the people playing have to overreact to make slightly interesting, which fails and makes it annoying
"pokemon news" you just see on fucking serebii or even on the pokemon main channel
top 5 and top 10 are incredible annoying
the only interesting thing is wifi battle/showdown laddering and most of the poketubers are bad at it

I literally know two people that play it still, and even then they only check in on it once or twice a day.

Every game dies down after a while, but the massive drop off of GO players is a testament to how much Nintendo fucked up by letting Niantic get their amateur paws on the franchise.

Like, I already have an idea for a video where Marowak are nearly pushed to extinction by Exeggutor, so they evolve into fire/ghost types. But when they strike back, the still get their asses handed to them, because Alolan Exegutor are Dragon types and not psychic.
