To those who have a thing against Poppmaid/Entermaid/Serlimaid being called waifu bait, of which I will immediately excuse myself having done so just now.
You guys do know she's a literal "maiden of the sea", don't you? And if I'm not mistaken, I'm pretty sure she has seized to be a sea lion and became more of a seal with maid like veils if the whole shedding skin thing here applies (check out maid outfits, the white veils are strikingly similar to hers), with ode to mermaids, sirens and selkies. (Although I don't think all those are really depicted as wearing much at all and are quite simple looking, although the starfish for example suits well in the mermaid case). Not even mentioning how sirens usually sing drunken sailors to their deaths I already made a vow to call Poppmaid fuckers drunken sailors or how selkies are usually involved in romantic tellings.
I know there are people who legitimately like her and don't want to fuck the daylights out of her, but at the same time, she's like a open can of worms for fish among the sea towards those that do, more than the regular looking mons even though there is living proof that pretty much any pokemon is sexualized. It's like Lopunny, I know there are also people who legitimately like this pokemon because it might look pretty cool, but at the same time, is veering towards the edge of looking more... appealing to a certain crowd. It may not be intended, but that doesn't stop those people from acting their own animal instincts (it's a better way to explain it) and feeling aroused over a slightly curvy humanoid-ish rabbit just because of such defining traits.
I kind of already lost track of what I was intending to say here, but I guess what I'm saying is.
It's fine to get a feminine or elegant looking mon, but at the same time, it's practically impossible for it not to be sexualized, even more if they look more appetizing for that kind of crowd.
