I like yo think Paras' brain fuses with and controls the fungus, THEN the fungus controls the body.
So I feel less guilty about evolving it.

It's the Parasite Pokemon family. The Pokemon you raised and evolved was the mushroom. The bug was barely a nuisance in this, a step to be stood on. I mean, you evolved it; the last thing the bug knew was the encroaching cold and the fungus's demands, and you wishing it was stronger.

The mushroom is in control but still uses the bug brain for most functions. A mushroom doesn't knows how to walk, it tells the bug brain to walk.
