>>28267201There's more to difficulty than just levels. Team composition is much more important. Platinum has lower levels on average than DP despite more trainers and Platinum is widely agreed to be harder than DP. The only thing the EXP scaling does is prevent casuals from overleveling if they suck.
The chibi models were used for a reason. On the shit 3DS screen, with full size models you're either going to have the camera zoomed in too far to see anything around you, or zoomed out too far to make any details out. The chibi style was a smart design choice for a gameplay perspective, as much as people complain about it being "ugly".
XY revealed a ton of Pokemon by its release, only to have barely any left to find in the game.
Z-Moves are a terrible gimmick that in singleplayer will trivalize any potentially dangerous opponents such as Totems or Aces of important trainers, and in multiplayer have little impact due to their one-use nature without being consumable like Type Gems were, with sticking with regular hold items or Mega Stones on Pokemon with Megas likely a more practical choice.
Thankfully I give no shits about difficulty in Pokemon.
>>28267286>>28267393We know from the E3 footage Gen 5 style EXP scaling is in place. Which will also likely make getting to Level 100 to use bottle caps for Hyper Training hell.
