Doesn't matter, since you can't trade until post-game, so by the time you have Minun that Plusle is probably just sitting in your PC since it wasn't useful in game.
I guess it might be nice if you wanted to go for it with Mt. Battle, but wouldn't it have been great to use a pokemon pair specifically created for doubles in a game with nothing but double battles?
