Alright /vp/, hear me out on this.

Edgelord here is literally one of the good guys. He's pulling a Sasuke. Some shit went down (Perhaps involving Lusamine doing some shit to Lilly?) when he was younger and now he's going full avenger mode since his nee-san got her shit fucked up.

Think it's possible or am I just chatting shit?

Gladion is Lusamine's younger brother and used to work for Aether. There, he met UB-01 and became friends, but then he found out about Aether's true plans, freed UB-01 and ran off with Type: Null.

UB-01, now free, is hiding from Aether by disguising itself as Lillie, whose appearance was based on the human UB-01 was closest to: Gladion.

UB-01 and Gladion meets long before the game begins, Gladion helps UB-01 by letting it hide as hat and hair, Gladion is Lillie.

Or or or their siblings. Maybe Gladion is Lusamine's pawn but when Lillie found out her brother maybe her sister are douchebags she GTFOed with her buddy UB-01. It would make sense cause Lusamine and Lillie kinda have similiar philosophy, why Lillie is with Kukui (perhaps to get his help in figuring out how to stop her crazy family cause betting Faba and Wicke are her aunt and uncle or related to them (given those creepy cat green eyes)

And to justify it further, Lusamine and Gladion have chopped up hair of the same color, same color eyes as Lillie does as well and it would sense.

And I could see Lusamine being their mother too, but I feel she'd would've looked more mother-y. Cause desu she looks like Lillie going through "I seem like a nice person but I'm really crazy mad scientist" phase.

And it would make sense why Lillie is reading a lot and maybe she's in fact a bad guy working with her family to learn what Kukui knows and use it to their advantage, same with Gladion and Guzma. Maybe the two old guys found out about UBs along with the Catscrach Siblings parents and wanted to find to stop them until the parents "Died" or got sucked into another dimension leading to Lusamine's obsession with UBs either creating them (ss Type-Null is the original prototype she chucked to her brother in Team Skull) or making similar Synthmon to take on Ultra Beasts which are like interdimensional pokegods.

Lillie and Gladion are Lusamine's sons, she experimented with them, creating UB-01 which is a pokemon copy of Lillie, and Type: Null was one of the first experiments with pokemon. Lillie ad Gladion left the Aether Fundation, Lillie remembers nothing and decided to help Kukui. Gladion remembers everything and joined team skull to avenge his sister, he took Type: Null bc he developed a bond with it.

After some point, Lusamine reveals mher true plan an you have to team with Gladion and the Team Skull to stop them.

Calling it now, there are only a few Type:Null in the game and the only one we see until late/post game is to Gladions.

Also Aether is clearly the antagonist here. Team skull is little more than a street gang, a team rocket lite, that's gonna end up redeeming themselves. Maybe Gladion has the goal of leading TS against Aether, but that seems far off when they have goons who think they can get rich selling Slowpoke. There's probably going to be a scene when the protag is cornered by Aether and Team Skull will bust in to save the day led by gladion. It'll be neat.
