That's something that can be factually tested.
Like something or not, you cannot deny the INFLUENCE JJBA has had. It's a lot like Pokemon in that sense. Something incredibly popular that never really stopped being popular, but did find a new resurgence thanks to new media bringing in people. And just like Pokemon, it's influential, I dare say near as much as Dragonball Z.
Now, do you have to like Jojo? Of course not. Even as a huge fan of the series, I can understand its faults. Part 1 was not the most interesting, there's the Dio's coffin plothole, and there are some stylistic choices I don't care for.
But calling it flash-in-the-pan, just another meme, or something nobody's ever heard about? That's just plain foolish.
I mean, how can you argue with something whose works have been featured with Gucci and in the fucking LOURVE?
