Ballio/Pinni is cotton candy compared to these guys. But I guess people like to reinforce the idea that clowns are still scary to this day and due to that, that idea is already engraved in many peoples' minds. Some examples came from movies and others from events that occurred long time ago. People just prefer to focus on the bad things rather than the good. And because of that, very rarely do you ever see anything or anyone help a person overcome stuff like coulrophobia because in reality, all they're afraid of is of a person who has their clown make up on (which usually seems to be one of the things that triggers the phobia). Not mentioning how some have been taught this fear due to the same movies that use such bad examples, although it doesn't apply to everyone, that I know.
