SM has to have a basic Battle Facility. Let's say Kalos returns. The problem with just having the Battle Maison in SM doesn't make sense.
That's because Ohmori has shown utmost respect to players with the little things in SM. He has worked so hard in regaining respect from players. One example is the return of Pokemon Snap. Another is the Magikarp submarine in the recent Japanese trailer. Then you got customization without hats and with sandals. Then you got Alolan Forms. Then you got the fact that Ohmori is willing to allow names like UB 01 and Type: Null for actual Pokemon... Ohmori is too respectful to /vp/. Who knows what else he has in store for us.
There will at least be a Battle Tower clone with a new theme. But if Maison returns, there has to be more facilities.
