Yeah, the character models for DQ8 may be better, but the overall feel and background of the game looks very dull compared to SM

Man, if the NX Portable will be a 720/1080p HD screen. Gen 8 Pokemon is going to look gorgeous.

My guess for Gen 8 they might get rid of the overhead view and opp for more of behind the camera view, sort of like Kingdom Hearts without the action RPG side.

The 3DS version sure will.

If anything I'm more excited about the prospect of seeing a mainline Pokemon game in glorious HD on the NX, but Sun/Moon are doing just fine for me so far.

That's probably why it looks more interesting. The pallet and lighting in the DQ game looks pretty dull comparatively.

It looks pixely because it's a 3DS game on monitor resolution. We've had handheld consoles for years and nobody still seems to understand that handheld games look like shit on higher resolutions

SM are set in a fictional world anon, they're not supposed to "feel normal'
I'd rather have SM's vibrancy and colors to its region rather than DQ's very dull 'realistic' setting
