It's the structure and reused idea that bothers me.
The other teams are generally all different. Flare retreads a lot of the same concepts as these two though and it's bothersome.
Rocket, on the other hand, is just a criminal organization. Magma and Aqua are essentially ecoterrorists. The groups are unique and different.
Skull being pirates, even if they are retreading Rocket in a way, is such a nice change of pace. And Aether being a group of potential mad scientists is also a chance of pace.
I'm so happy we're not doing cult for a third fucking time.
