In this thread, let's post shitty ideas we've had for game mechanics and such over the course of our love of Pokemon.
First one that jumps to my mind is an idea I had for a hidden ability for all legendary pokemon:

>Pokemon with this ability half the damage they take from their weaknesses. x2 becomes x1 and x4 becomes x2.
The idea was to make legendaries feel "bigger" than your standard meta-gaming. They're the strongest pokemon in the world, so trying to swat down Mew or Articuno with your common Houndoom isn't going to cut it.
In the case of the upcoming generation, it would meant to help mitigate the fact that the sun pokemon is weak to fire.
But, given everything else legendaries often get, this might just tip into out and our "completely broken" land.
