Imagine if this thing got aqua ring.
Aqua ring+lefties and never lose your school form. Like a good archaeops.
That would be so choice. I am so looking forward to using this thing

He takes damage to bring in school form, then probably becomes heavily buffed but still little damage.

Good for switching in when against rock slides and shit. Trigger the form on your way in.

You got that backwards. It starts with School, but goes back to normal when it hits a certain threshold, presumably half.

I hope it's 25%. I think it could be a fantastic wall, but its spatk is so damn good (allegedly). Just really looking forward to finding out.

Also, does it get school form as soon as it enters the battle? I think what >>28384977 was trying to say was that damage triggers school form, but I'm not even sure if that's true

Nope, ain't true. If it's a certain level (currently unknown) it'll automatically transform into School form when entering battle. However, if its HP falls enough, it goes back to being a single Wishiwashi. Also, yes, its SpA is insane. 150 at the absolute minimum. It could be even higher

Damn I love it when they do tradeoff pokemon. Archaeops and Slaking are cool, but they're both pretty niche. Like I was saying if this thing got aqua ring (which is totally feasible either through level up or breeding), it will be a monster special tank

Wishiwashi could be a legitimate thread in higher tiers than the other tradeoff mons. It has a good typing, hits harder than Archeops, and could be a fucking beast with Wish support.
