The GS remakes had some elements of Crystal mixed in. Hopefully we'll get that instead of ORAS repeats

Highly doubt they will switch to a new console mid-gen. Whatever features the NX has they will want to show them off in a completely new game. Like gen 7.5

They didn't keep all the good shit Crystal added like Sneasel in Ice path or getting Phanpy or Teddiursa early.

But that wouldn't be too bad.
RS still got an updated dex, so I wouldn't be surprised if even DP remakes got the platinum dex.
Beyond that, all we'd lose out on is the battle frontier.

I don't see why they wouldn't have the distortion world included. Besides that the games are mostly the same, Platinum just improved the speed and graphics and such, which is irrelevant to remakes.
