Mew is the first legendary pokemon mew came first in gen 1. Mew became arceus in gen 4 along with every other legendary. The mystery of unkown is that they are corrupted mews from the ghost dragon world. Celebi is onion mew thats why her shiny is pink. Mew3 was going to be a thing but scrapped and later became megas. Arcanine was meant to be a legendary but entei was better than him and he got btfo. Any more questions I will answer

Mew is only theorized to contain the genetic code of all Pokemon by scientists. Arceus being a god of creation is only a legend believed by the people of Sinnoh.

not only in sinnoh, if you consider each version game one dimension with differents events, it's a sinnoh's mythology only in johto hgss, x and or.
Unova Pokedex doesn't say Sinnoh mythology, so, this is openly believed in Unova too?
