I hate gen 1 pandering, Or people who won't play anything other than gen 1(including remakes)

Due to the lack of special split I can't bring myself to play gen 1 games anymore.

Due to the lack of physicl/special split I can't bring myself to play fire red/leaf green anymore either.

This is legitimately me. I have replayed, and completed, RBY and even G a total of 11 times. I have tried replaying newer gens and just lose interest immediately.

They weren't even my first pokemon games, I just find them fun.

I also can't play FR or LG, they just don't have the same appeal to me.

Gen 1 isn't perfect, but is really worth to criticize the generation who started it all? Those games were made 20 years ago.

Have you replayed the games? Gen 1 is fucking laughable. Sure, they're enjoyable, but it's so easy to break the games. You don't even need to power level one mon. I beat the Yellow e4 with four level 50 Pokemon, one of which was pikachu.
