>>28412391Cross-gen evos like Eevolutions, slowking, Froslass, Gallade, Politoed, Belossom and for some part Scizor are great, since they arent the exact "final form", just an optional side path and a nice way to bring old mons with new ideas back and not bloat the pokedex with unnecessary lines. Evos like steelix, crobat, porigon's, etc, are the actual problem since they ARE the new "final form" of a poke, which can lead to a lot of people losing their fav pokes since they are not the optimal option anymore for that line. I love Magnezone and Gliscor but didnt care much for their prevos, but a lot of people did, and many of them might hate what feels like an "uninvited guest" for them.
Cross-gen evos are a good idea when they dont attack directly an old pokemon line, but branch it out of them instead.
