It was also a month before release. They game out in October '13. Sun & Moon is November.

I don't know. I remember being disappointed with both, but Chesnaught was way better and I actually quite like it now.
Anyway, feels weird when Chespin was my favorite first stage and it fell to the bottom when the mid evos were shown.

I'd bet money that Rockruff's "big secret" will be about Z-Moves. I can imagine they introduce something like a special or double Z-Attack for Rocky which depends on the starter you chose or have with you. I'm prepared for a disappointment. And that's probably the smartest thing to do.

I remember the whole ride. Everyone got disappointed with all the starters until they saw Greninja in amie. Then everyone loved him.

While Gen 6 wasn't perfect, the hype train and XY games were pretty fun.

It has grown on me, but I like the whole line. Delphox grew on me too I just don't like Braixen. I was a Froakie fan from the moment I saw it though.

while i agree Chesnaught's design is pretty meh, i can't believe there are people who believe that it is worse than its pre-evo's design

I'm surprised with all of the people saying that everyone was mad at Chesnaught. I remember watching the leak thread and when Chesnaught was revealed there was a lot of people that were excited and said it was the best of the starters so far.

A lot of people hated Greninja but changed their minds after seeing it in Amie and seeing that it had Protean as a special ability.

They only hated Greninja because of that leak pic. It had a terrible quality and looked weird because of it. Once people saw the thing in motion, amie and the official artwork people instantly loved it to death.
