yes it is. No other pokemon has that high of a stat. Chansey and its line are by definition gimmickmons, because they are known mostly for their gimmick.

Also, nothing is as extreme as shuckle, nothing has top 5 and bottom 5 stats all the way

gimmick pokemon must have a specific novelty quirk thats usually the central point of that pokemon's concept.

obvious exampels would be ditto, eevee, castform, unown, smeargle, kekleon, spinda...

doesnt mean they have to be a single stage normal type. slaking is a gimmick, rotom is a gimmick, vivillion is a gimmick...

Gimmick pokemon are your one trick ponies. Like wabbuffet. Its mere existence is the bait counters and it only learns counter abilities. 90% of the things in this thread are not gimmicks.

By your definition serperior would be a gimmickmon, which it isnt, since it can have severak different roles, from sweeping to stalling
