Will IV/EV stuff get easier to do ingame? This is the only reason I prefer showdown, it's too much work to make a good pokemon - I just want to play.

I doubt we'll ever see an easier way for the EVs to be increased coming for Gamefreak than the one we saw in XY. Unless they just go "Ok, earn this punching bag and activate it, no need to poke your screen for half an hour."

As for IVs, there's some kind of golden thingie that turns the IVs of your pokemon to 31, as long as said pokemon is lv 100.
