Megas like mega lopunny, mega medicham and mega beedrill specially would be rendered near useless, since their whole thing is massive damage and poor bulk, most of their fellow tier memebers would destroy them.
Bulkier megas wouldn't do much better, most can tell you mega sableye, mega aggron and mega scizor dont appreciate free damage, since it's an issue to recover, and some cant even do that at all.
To make matters worse, if you can correctly predict when the opponent is going to mega, you can swap in a counter and neutralize their threat or gain the momentum back from the opponent.
TL;DR: No, you made megas mediocre at best, unusable at worst.
