So we now know about the ultra beasts, but what role do the legendaries play here?

While you're busy fighting the Ultra Beasts, Guzma will capture one of the two legendraty Pokemon offscreen and become the main antagonist.

Considering his Sun/Moon shaped sunglasses Guzma probably has some relationship with the legendaries. Whatever he will use them against the ultrabeasts or to make things worse will be known soon.

It's possible Guzma might know of the Ultra Beasts and could be after the Legendaries as a means of forcing his way to be the hero and rubbing it in Tapu Koko's face.

Guzma will capture the box legendary but he still wont be evil.

It'll just be a "ha, you all laughed at me and said I couldn't be a captain but now I have [legendary] and am the strongest trainer in the world!" and then you fight final boss Guzma

But what if he's a broken man? What if he was a shame to his parents, his dreams were destroyed and this "ya boy Guzma" is just an act to hide his suicidal tendencies?

What if having a legendary will make him go crazy with power and all that bottled up frustration will make him try to destroy the world?
