I think litten may be night, if the day/night evo's are true.

Look at the teapot doodle, he's sleeping. Maybe he stays up all night practicing wrestling moves, but never gets to actually fight because he sleeps in. Which would explain the fire/dark typing instead of fire/fighting.

Coro coro gets exclusivity on reveals, some of the things they reveal can't be revealed for a while by anyone else.
Something as big as a starter change is probably not gonna be exclusive, so they got the rockruff change they referenced.
If they do got exclusivity on that, it means that a trailer can't reveal it for a while so they could reveal all of them on the same trailer.

Or maybe because it's a bigger thing they're saving it up and hyping people up.

The fact is that they still have a secret and it's referenced on the same page that referenced the rockruff secret, so there's a possibility that they're linked.

Wasn't there a leak mentioning this thing for rockruff and the same thing for the starters?

It's perfectly possible they share the same secret but that is an assumption until something suggests otherwise.
