Pokemon=created by arceus=captureable by pokeballs. Giratina was created by arceus or the anti-form of arceus. So he's a pokemon. He was just placed in another dimension or some shit like that.
Humans=not created by arceus=not captureable in pokeballs
Ultra Beasts=not created by arceus=from another dimension(supposedly if trailers are canon and my speculation is right)=not captureable. Also not listed as pokemon. You dont necessarily have to be humans to be uncaptureable, just not have mew/arceus origins.
