I always forget about this thing. Even with how important it was in the anime. Even when they gave it its own swimming model in X and Y. Even though I keep seeing it in Sun and Moon trailers. I just keep forgetting it.

Ice should be considered the "nerf" type. Whenever a pokemon is too strong, just stick Ice to it, guaranteed to weaken it to shit.

I don't know why I didn't appreciate it more back in the day. I guess gen I does have a lot of neat water types, and Gyarados was more appealing as a kid.
It's probably my favorite water or ice type now.
