>>28509033It'd be great if Pokemon were a more traditionally played RPG where shit like NG+ is encouraged. But it's not. You still only have one save file, if you want to keep your best Mons you either need to not reset or store them on bank, reset, then have to drag out the league to use them properly cause badge restrictions (there's going to be something akin to that to take place for the Island Trials, by the way) and then play back in square one.
If there's some shit to facilitate easier NG+ OR if you can just fight them all you want after, sure, it could be cool. But until then, it just seems wasteful to be developing and designing that instead of just, I dunno, new Pokemon.
