You wake up and Sun and Moon is a regular Pokemon entry.

Just 1 regular villain team, 8 gyms + E4 + Champion, HMs, new Mega evolutions, the usual Pokemon plot (get badges, beat up evil team a lot, evil team summons legendary and things go wrong, you capture said legendary and beat the evil team leader for the last time and save the day, get last badge, Victory Road, E4, Champion, Hall of Fame), and Z-Moves as the new mechanic.

No Alolan Forms, no trial captains or kahunas, no Ultra Beasts (or they're just regular legendaries, either/or), no second (probably) evil team, just a more by the book entry. Assume that new Pokemon designs remained the same and that any minor quality-of-life things like Ultra Training that would be added remain.

In short, S&M sticks to the usual formula with minor adjustments rather than the radical shift we've seen so far with the upcoming games.


Also assume they would have completely different people for gym leaders, so if you liked Lana or Mallow, sucks to be you, they no longer exist.


Would you be more hyped for S&M or less hyped?
