Why people get so pissed with ultra beast because they doesn't look like pokemon, when we have Deoxys which is pretty much the same thing design-wise?

technically deoxys is not an alien pokemon, it was an alien virus and mutated into a pokemon once it got to the pokemon world. and theres nothing to suggest that the UBs dimension is higher than ours, just a different one.

Distortion World is just a "mirror" world.
Ultra Beast come from a totally different dimension.

no, Deoxys is from the same dimension as Pokemon are, and technically it mutated into a Pokemon

but we don't know much more about UBs except that they came from another dimension separate from the Pokemon world

People disliked Deoxys too. But back then people was begging for an anti-mewtwo. So he was popular for a while, both while rayquaza remained popular, Deoxys went to shit pretty fast, no body really cared about hi,.

The fact that deoxys tried to destroy the world with a meteor in episode delta makes it really on the same level of the UBs, so why is not as criticized like them?

Also, I loved Delta, if Sun and Moon have the same vibe I'll be very happy.

that particular Deoxys appears malevolent, or it could have wanted to direct the meteor toward a planet it could sustain itself on. the meteor 'had a mind of its own', correct?

since Pokemon don't talk it's not clear that it really wanted to destroy everyone.

the meteor from Delta Episode actively changed its trajectory, probably likely that Deoxys was controlling it.

Going by the lore Dialga, Palkia and Giratina were all made in our universe before being sent to govern their respective elements or banished as it was in Giratina's case.
In other words they originated in our universe unlike the Ultra Beasts. Arceus is the only one that you can argue isn't a Pokemon because it existed prior to our universe.
