That's like saying the new Exp Share is okay because you can turn it off. Or, to put it in better perspective, it's like saying a game is good because the community made good mods for it.
That being said, there are some really good things in ORAS, too. The Elite 4 is actually somewhat of a challenge (instead of being utter pushovers like in X/Y), May is cute (and infinitely better than the fucking entourage in X/Y), Everything about the Dex___ is perfect, and soaring is absolutely beautiful.
Is it a BAD game? No, not really. I enjoyed it, even if there was no difficulty. However, aside from X/Y (and R/B/Y simply for tech-based reasons), it's the worst Pokemon game. And that's not bad. Just very disappointing.
