Just a little bit too much detail to be mistaken for Pokemon. They look like neopets or whatever because they all have too much detail. Pokemon designs (stage 0 at least, but over all most) don't have designs that are this busy.

Funny cause I knew those were fake the instance I saw them, just like Roothoot. I recognised the artist's artstyle since I watch a lot of people on DA so I'm used with tons of different styles.

Yep, they were made when the trademarks for the starters showed up, although I remember somewhere there was this rumor the Grass starter will be a crow. Can't remember where.
