I have not messed with this mod since it's earliest releases. Can Pokemon actually fight regular mobs or interact with the world in any meaningful way, or is it still like a weird minigame with RPG numbers that's hardly integrated into the rest of the game?

You can battle other pokemon or other players, as well as pokemon have abilities like dig that can remove a large chunk of blocks. You can also use certain pokemon to fly, surf, or ride as a land mount.
Pokemon function like they do in Gen 5 stat/movepool/ability wise, and there's breeding/ivs/evs/balltism if you're into that.

So aside from Fugland and Spawn, what communities are in the works? I've got a nice little spot with a desert, Pokemon Center, plains, savanna, river, and forest all fairly close, with three masterball grottoes within a short walking distance. Alright, so wondertrade has been added, the cooldown is 15 minutes, the max level any pokemon can have from the default gen is 40, the lowest is 5.
Right now there is a 1 out of 5000 chance you could get a legendary when you trade, which we halved from 10000
