- 97 new pokes, 28 alolan forms, 12 ultra beasts, 23 Z-forms, 6 legendaries programmed but not used
- Starters have split forms but unlike Rockruffs, they are not version exclusive. Grass/Flying or Ground, Fire/Dark or Poison, Water/Fairy or Steel
- Marshadow is Psychic/Poison
- Z-Forms are very random. Some pokemon get great appearance changes while others are subtle with a "mimic appearance" feature like Ash Greninja
- On the 20th Day/Night forms of starters and rockruff shown (starters 2nd evos)
- Ultra Beasts can be captured with the post game Ultra Dex but you can only "summon" one in battle as a "sidekick" which you control and goes away after a certain number of turns
