As a general rule I like Pokemon for games, Digimon for shows. It's rare for the opposite to be true (though there's a handful of decent examples in each).

Either way, both have monsters of some variety doing cool things and that's fine by me.

I'm this way, because Pokemon has the best designs and mechanics. Yokai Watch plays like a mobile game and Digimon has too much grinding needed to provide false gameplay hours

I liked Our War Game from Digimon and that's it regarding the show. Pokemon was/is better.

Never tried the games though. Maybe one day.

This. Digimon world 2 is one of my favourite games ever, but fuck, isn't that game a grindfest.

I wish more digimon games had come out for the 3DS. I really want to play some of them, but I'm not buying a Vita just for that.
