I just don't know what boosting moves it could learn? Judging by the preview he used like a laser attack so maybe he'll be special oriented or possibly can go either phys/spec. Think it'd be able to learn Nasty Plot or Calm Mind?

its ability being a little contradictory with Shell Smash is exactly why I doubted mentioning it. But I guess it isn't exactly out of the realm of possibility to learn it and still have the ability only trigger as it normally would, too.

Huh, never really tought about that. I mean I knew most pokemon that got Power Gem, but never once did it crossed my mind.

Aurorus and Diancie still deserve to know Power Gem alongside Alakazam and Espeon (if Persian can get away with it, so can these two).
