>>28590458>Ritchie EToP's version of Ash vs Ritchie was amazing, and
Ash was forced to withdraw or else his Charizard would have killed Ritchie's In the anime, it was the stupid judge who considered sleeping to be KO'd who gets a lot of the blame. Also, Ash's team was tired due to Team Rocket shenanigans. Then there's Charizard not giving a fuck even though he would have swept Ritchie. Ritchie himself isn't the problem. What do you expect him to do say "oh wow ash jus luk at all da bullshit happening to u. let me take the l so the other guy can beat u?" Hell no, he wanted to win the league as much as Ash did.
>Hoenn guyHe was on par with Ash in skill, and Charizard had fucked up Blaziken so badly that it was too hurt to win the next match. So it's not as bad as Greninja v Charizard. The guy who beat him went on to become the champion, so you could argue that Ash was the 3rd strongest league challenger.
>TysonHe won the league. Ash gave him a hell of a battle, and if Ash had evolved Grovyle into Sceptile he would have destroyed Tyson and won the league. Not to mention that Tyson was a late teen/young adult, so it's not like Ash lost to some scrub. Ash winning the BF makes up for this since the Brains are on par with the Elite Four. Since Ash almost won the Hoenn league without bringing his A-Team, that only proves that the BF is a tougher challenge than the league.
>Tobiasplot device.
>CameronThere's no excuse for this shit.
>AlainThe reason why Alain's team did so well against Ash was because Alain had already seen the rest of his team. Ash didn't know what Alain would have brought, so Alain had a massive advantage at the start. Regardless of that, Ash still managed to take out 5 of his mons. Greninja vs Charizard was bullshit. AG already showed that Ash had what it takes to become a champion as far as power goes, and DPP revealed that winning a league is only a small step to becoming a master. Ash should have won Kalos.
