Welcome to the second official /vp Nuzlocke's Thread!
This isnt an ordinary Nuzlocke General in this thread all the /vporeons participating, play one specific rom hack with unified Nuzlocke Rules and we post our progress in order to ; compete to be the greatest/comfy games with freinds/have the best run/whatever you want bby, we just do it as a unified community.
This weekend we'll be playing Pokemon XY Naturia!
For the first run we'll go with the classic rules.
>Get a trip or name to post with, so its easier to keep track of you, but keep your trip in this thread to avoid being an unwanted smelly tripfag >first pokemon you see on a route or in a town, that's the pokemon you catch. No exceptions, if you fail to catch it, tough luck. Move on without it. >If a pokemon faints, release it. >Nickname each pokemon you catch >No dupes clause. EX: You catch a psyduck, then the next route a Psyduck shows up, you don't catch the second duck. You go by the next encounter, and catch that. >you get ONE freebie to catch whatever you want excluding legendaries >Shiny rate is 1/250 or something like that just an fyi So then /vporeons these are our rules! and this is this weekends game! Posting this again since it was the last post in the last thread: Well I beat Pryce, but BigBoi was lost in the process. Walrein was too strong, had Rest + Sleep Talk, BigBoi managed to get it down to the red before succumbing to a blizzard. She will be missed

By the was lads, this is a long way off for most of you but the gym order in this game is different. After you beat Morty you have to go to Mahogany town, you can't even get to Olivine until you beat Pryce. It's confusing because there's rocket grunts blocking the way to Mahogany, you have to go through the cave

Managed to beat Boss Inuyasha, was tougher than I thought. Though can anyone explain why I couldn't use items at all? Tried to use Awakening once he put my first pokemon to sleep, but I couldn't, despite it being the first item I would've used in that battle.

Whitney was easy as fuck because my Lairon(RIP) had iron head and my Haunter had sludge bomb and she mostly has fairy types. Snorlax was knida rough but it worked just fine
Morty was a fucking bastard I'm glad i ground as much as I did for him, I was overlevelled and still struggled
Pryce was piece of cake until his Walrein
Chuck is easy because even though you can't fight him til after Pryce, his pokemon are 10 levels lower

Question: Why was this game picked? It's level curve is pretty steep compared to the original games which makes it so much harder to nuzlocke. This makes it difficult for new people to join in, especially considering how new this thread is.

Meanwhile, trying to climb up to Violet. Restarted twice already, would have lost a third time, but I decided on a sort of a "Litmus clause", given how every time I lost because of Litmus going full autism and hitting all the wrong types. "Litmus clause" meaning that I had a 1-up of sorts, but only because I didn't have anything beside Eevee yet, and because it was Litmus that screwed everything up.

Finally beat Boss Inuyasha. It was hell. Eevee ignoring orders, and Litmus screwing this up.
Based Gren, Joltik, saved my ass by snapping out of confusion in one turn and criting Haunter. Gonna grind some more.

Also, i don't think I can get to red, just talked to Elm and he told me (in spanish) that this was the end of Beta 1, and that he hopes i had fun. He gave me a Green Orb but told me it does nothing in the hack.

Which one do you have, version 0.4.1 or the previous one? (0.4.1 has Eevee with Litmus)
0.4.1 has the pokemon at 15 or so, while the previous version has that damn Staravia at lvl 17. Take care regardless.
Sprout Tower is somewhere along 15 tier, but take care with those Inuyashas, the Snover are horrible,

Easiest way to tell is to look and see if you can see pokemon abilites in the stat screens
Updated version: Falkner's highest is 13 but it's a killer staravia.
Old version: Falkner's highest is 17 and it's a monster staravia that is crazy. Sprout tower has snover that slay pokemon left and right and a haunter that shits on dreams (level 15 or 16 i think)
