Fact is, anyone above the age of 10 here will call you a child for enjoying pokemon
In my first months here I made the mistake of saying I enjoyed pokemon, just so I could get along with the neighbor's kids, and even THEM watched me with pity.
The west can have different values, I'll give you that.
But make no mistake, anyone caught playing pokemon here is going to be seen as trash.
