When are we supposed to learn about preorder bonuses from retailers for Sun and Moon?

I'm pretty sure that this far into leak season in ORAS, we knew that Toys R'Us was giving out Mega Charizard plushies for preorder, and Gamestop gives out posters, and Walmart or Target sometimes give pins or other small items.
Shouldn't we know what the preorder bonuses for Sun and Moon are, or is that going to be revealed closer to launch?

I need to decide if I should get the Steelbook bundle on Amazon or not
