I remember in gen 4 there was some faggot with a shiny deoxys and he kept putting it up on the GTS for inane shit like a level 100 weedle and stuff like that.

He kept rotating the mon he wanted out, so eventually I ended up hacking a 100 Caterpie and caught the guy when be put it up. Still have that shiny deoxys too.

They should just add 2 things.

1. A detection that recognizes bullshit requests and denies them upon being put up
2. Give an option to exclude search results with legendary pokemon requested

2 easy steps that remove all the cancer from GTS

They do ban mythics. They are unable to be traded even when you satisfy all the conditions.

Why the game even lets you post and request them is beyond me and I really hope they fix it in Sun and Moon.

On the other hand.

At least you almost always get a trade done quickly if you put something reasonable up. I've done dozens of easy "exclusive 1 for exclusive 2"/"starter for starter"/"fossil for fossil" trades

Depends on what you call a bs request. I used the GTS to get trade evos (with items), using OR/X and a lvl 3 Pidgey. That worked because the request was fairly bs.

If course if you mean lvl 9 legendary bs, then that's fine. My guess is that they allow it to future-proof in case they let you catch low level legendaries (ex. Regigigas). They should just remove the option to ask for mythicals, that alone would work wonders.
