One of my only real black friends was an old coworker. He was basically a club promoter, drug dealer, petty Craigslist shark, and pothead. Good worker but a little flaky (ALL blacks are, I mean unless you wanna fire the whole race at once you're going to have to accept that as an employer early on), also had a good personality and was slightly higher class than the great majority. Most of their charm comes from their sense of humor because they are genuinely very funny.
I've also tended to notice that the wealthier blacks are much more Americanized and polite, but those social circles are so far above my income bracket that you never get to actually interact with this kind of black often. This may be why a lot of wealthy whites push for multicultural legislation and think racists are ignorant. In their experience they ARE right, because they get to hang out with all the bro tier doctors, accountants, etc.
