Design-wise, I love the line. I love Tympole, and Seismitoad looks pretty dope too (especially on the Seismitoad EX card in the Pokemon TCG).

In a way, I really appreciate the Pokemon that were designed to sort of mirror Gen 1 designs. Not because I'm obsessed with Gen 1, but I love the uniform nature of it all.

I just think it's underappreciated. Wish it was more viable competitively.

Using one in White for the first time. I like him; mine has Surf, Brick Break, Sludge Bomb, and Dig with Poison Touch ability. Just waiting for Drain Punch and Poison Jab.

I came in here to say "it's awful", but then I took a good long look at the tympole line and realized it's far and away the only redeemable design in its family. So at least it ended up better than it started.
