i guess it just begs the question do pokemon solely exist for humans, and i guess the answer is obviously yes since its fictional. but in universe they seem to also only really exist for people, and really their "potential" or whatever is only unlocked via capture, training, and battling with people. but idk thats kind of weird? maybe? or maybe not? idk
